The INSECTARIUM is located at 8046 Frankford Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia. We are open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 4pm. We are closed on Sunday. Admission price is $9.00.

I 95 North...
Follow I 95 North to the Cottman avenue exit. Follow Cottman Ave (Route 73) until you come to Frankford Avenue. There you will make a right turn onto Frankford Avenue and follow to 8046 Frankford Avenue. The Insectarium will be located on your left side between Rhawn Street and Welsh Road.

I 95 South...
Follow I 95 South to the Academy Road exit. Follow Academy Road to the first traffic light (Frankford Avenue) and make a left turn. Follow to 8046 Frankford Avenue. The Insectarium will be located on your right between Welsh Road and Rhawn Street.

Roosevelt Boulevard (US Route 1 North)...
Follow Roosevelt Boulevard (US Route 1 North) to the Cottman Avenue Exit. There you will turn right. Follow Cottman Ave (Route 73) until you come to Frankford Avenue. There you will make a left turn onto Frankford Avenue and follow to 8046 Frankford Avenue. The Insectarium will be located on your left side between Rhawn Street and Welsh Road.

Roosevelt Boulevard (US Route 1 South)...
Follow Roosevelt Boulevard (US Route 1 South) to the Cottman Avenue Exit. There you will turn left. Follow Cottman Ave (Route 73) until you come to Frankford Avenue. There you will make a left turn onto Frankford Avenue and follow to 8046 Frankford Avenue. The Insectarium will be located on your left side between Rhawn Street and Welsh Road.

PA Turnpike...
Philadelphia exit 351 to US Route 1 South to the Cottman Avenue Exit. There you will turn left. Follow Cottman Ave (Route 73) until you come to Frankford Avenue. There you will make a left turn onto Frankford Avenue and follow to 8046 Frankford Avenue. The Insectarium will be located on your left side between Rhawn Street and Welsh Road.

Public Transportation...

Take the Market-Frankford line to Bridge-Pratt stop (Frankford Terminal)

Take the 66 bus out Frankford Ave to the Welsh Road stop.
